What transaction fees does a tokenization platform charge issuers?
On top of the plan, Libertum charges per-action fees. These are the defaults under the Subscription Agreement; no fee has a maximum, and Libertum may agree different rates for a specific issuer or offering.
| Fee | Default | When |
|---|---|---|
| Distribution (issuance) fee | 1% of capital raised (minimum USD 5) | Primary subscription orders; charged to the issuer, not added to the investor’s payment |
| Redemption fee | 1% (minimum USD 5) | Redemptions; an issuer can set a rate per redemption window |
| Dividend fee | 0.5% of the distributed amount (minimum USD 1) | Dividends and distributions, deducted at payout |
| KYC | USD 5 per investor verification | Identity verification through Libertum |
| KYB | USD 15 per entity verification | Business verification through Libertum |
| Card processing | Stripe cost passed through + 0.5% | Card payments |
| Network (gas) fees | Network cost + 10%, billed to the issuer | Offering deployment, other on-chain operations, and gas sponsored for investors paying from their custodian balance |
| Data export | USD 500 | Full data export on request |
| Per-listing fee | USD 499 per offering | Pay Per Listing plan only |
How much do Structuring, Funds and Distribution Hub cost?
Platform add-ons are bought on top of a plan:
| Add-on | Price (per month) | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Structuring | $500 | Beta. Issuer add-on, not included in any plan. Includes $100/month of AI credit |
| Funds | $1,000 | Access by request. For fund administrators: unlimited funds, plus a distribution fee agreed with each administrator |
| Distribution Hub | $149 | Flat price on any plan, including Enterprise |
| Libby AI | $349 | Requires Distribution Hub (Hub + Libby AI = $498/month). Includes $100/month of AI credit |
| Stablecoin Studio | $19.99 / $49.99 / $199.99 | Starter, Growth and Enterprise tiers; one tier at a time |
AI usage above the included credit is charged at the AI provider’s cost multiplied by a product markup set by Libertum.
What do investors pay, and who pays gas?
Investors do not pay the distribution fee on top of their subscription. Investor-facing fees apply mainly to the secondary market and to transactions investors sign themselves.
- Secondary market listing fee: USD 25 per sell listing, paid by the seller in USDC. The P2P secondary market is live on Base mainnet.
- Secondary market trade fee: 0.5% of trade value, paid by the buyer on each P2P fill, in USDC.
- Own wallet: transactions an investor signs from a connected EVM wallet carry a variable, pass-through network fee.
- Custodian checkout: when an investor pays from their custodian balance, the network fee is sponsored for the investor and billed to the offering’s issuer (network cost + 10%).
- XRPL: investors are never charged gas for XRPL transactions.
- Bonding curves: B-DEX is a preview with no live trading, so no bonding-curve fees are charged.
What other costs should you budget for?
Libertum’s fees cover the platform. A tokenization project also has third-party costs that Libertum does not set and that vary widely by jurisdiction, asset and provider. Get quotes for each of these before you set your raise target:
- Legal structuring and SPV formation: setting up the issuing vehicle and the structure of the instrument.
- Offering documents and counsel review: drafting and reviewing the offering memorandum, subscription terms and any registration or exemption filings. The Structuring module is a software tool and does not replace counsel.
- Audits and valuations: financial audits, asset valuations and any independent smart-contract review you commission.
- KYC and KYB volume: Libertum charges per verification, so the total depends on how many investors you onboard.
- Custody: custody arrangements for the underlying asset and any third-party custodian.
- Network and gas fees: deployment and on-chain operations vary with network conditions and the chain you choose.
- Marketing and distribution: investor outreach, events and campaigns.
- Ongoing reporting: investor reporting, accounting and regulatory filings for the life of the offering.
This list is a budgeting checklist, not a quote. Libertum does not provide legal, audit or valuation services; your licences and filings are your responsibility. See Licences.
What does a tokenization budget look like on Libertum?
Illustrative arithmetic only, using Libertum’s published default fees for a hypothetical issuer on Issuer Starter who raises USD 2,000,000 from 150 investors in one year. It excludes gas and every third-party cost listed above, and it is not a quote.
| Item | Calculation | Amount |
|---|---|---|
| Issuer Starter, billed monthly | 12 × $299 | $3,588 |
| Distribution fee | 1% × USD 2,000,000 | $20,000 |
| Investor KYC through Libertum | 150 × USD 5 | $750 |
| Libertum fees in this example | $24,338 |
Billed annually, Issuer Starter is $2,868 instead of $3,588, which makes the example $23,618. Network fees (network cost + 10%) and any dividend or redemption fees come on top and depend on what you do on-chain.
Is Pay Per Listing or a monthly plan cheaper?
It depends on how many offerings you run and what you need. Pay Per Listing costs $499 for each offering, with up to 2 team members and no monthly commitment, and suits one-off or bespoke deals. Issuer Starter costs $299 per month ($2,868 billed annually) for up to 3 mainnet offerings, 3 team members and the whitelabel platform under your own brand and domain. Issuer Growth ($499 per month) adds Asset Management access, up to 10 mainnet offerings and the secondary market. Offering limits count mainnet offerings only; testnet offerings are free to rehearse.
How are tokenization platform fees billed?
Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually through Stripe, and eligible paid plans start with a 7-day free trial. Transaction fees are invoiced monthly: a Libertum invoice is drafted at the start of each month with a per-offering breakdown (distribution, redemption and dividend fees, issuer-billed gas, KYC and KYB, plan and add-ons, AI usage), reviewed, then sent. Payment is due Net 15 by bank transfer or an optional Stripe payment link; your card on file is not charged automatically for Libertum invoices.

See an issuer set up platform branding and a custom domain, then the payment rails: custodian wallets on each chain, a prepaid gas balance for network fees, Stripe for card payments and bank accounts for wires.
Transcript: Platform branding & payments demo
Your investors should see your brand, not someone else's.
A branded investor platform usually means months of development, a separate payment provider, and emails that don't look like yours.
In Platform Branding, you set your company name, logos and colours, with contrast checks built in.
Connect your own domain, and investors sign in at your address.
Your sign-in page carries your logo, your image and your headline.
Every platform email is sent from your own domain and signed for it, so it arrives as yours.
Then set up your payment rails. Custodian wallets receive crypto on each chain, and a prepaid gas balance covers network fees.
Connect Stripe, or use your own Stripe account, to accept card payments that settle straight to you.
Add the bank accounts investors wire to, and confirm each payment as it lands.
The result: your own investment platform, under your brand, with no code to write.
For funds, asset managers and fund administrators: launch your own branded investment platform. Book a demo at libertum.io.

Tokenization cost FAQ
What is the cheapest way to tokenize one asset on Libertum?
For a single offering with a small team, Pay Per Listing at $499 per listing avoids a monthly commitment. You still pay the 1% distribution fee on capital raised, KYC per investor and network fees, plus your own third-party legal and other costs. The live plan page is authoritative.
Does the investor pay the 1% distribution fee?
No. The distribution fee of 1% of capital raised (minimum USD 5) is charged to the issuer and is not added on top of the investor’s payment. It appears on the issuer’s monthly Libertum invoice with a per-offering breakdown.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. Eligible paid plans start with a 7-day free trial with full access, and you can cancel before it ends without being charged. A trial is offered once: returning subscribers do not get a second trial and are charged when they subscribe again.
Who pays gas when an investor buys a token?
It depends on how they pay. If they sign from their own EVM wallet, they pay the network fee. If they pay from their custodian balance, the fee is sponsored and billed to the issuer at network cost plus 10%. Investors are never charged gas on XRPL.
Does Libertum's price include legal fees?
No. Libertum’s fees cover the platform. Legal structuring, offering documents, counsel review, audits, valuations, custody and ongoing reporting are third-party costs you budget separately. The Structuring module helps you and your counsel prepare documents, but it is a software tool, not a legal service.
Can I import an existing token instead of issuing a new one?
Yes. Token Import brings an existing token into T-Suite as a read-only Mirror with its cap table and history, for every supported standard. On EVM it can move to Operate once you grant roles or hand control to your organisation’s custodian wallet; Cardano and XRPL imports stay read-only.
