1. Who we are
The libertum.io website and T-Suite are operated by Libertum Ltd, a private limited company incorporated in England and Wales on 3 February 2023 under company number 14638562, with its registered office at 15 Crammavill Street, Grays, England, RM16 2AP. You can contact us about this policy at [email protected].
3. How we use cookies
We group cookies into three categories, which match the choices in our cookie banner:
- Strictly necessary. Needed for the website and T-Suite to work, for example to remember your cookie choices, keep you signed in and keep the service secure. These do not require your consent and cannot be switched off in the banner.
- Analytics (shown in the banner as “Statistics”). Help us understand how visitors use the website so that we can improve it, for example which pages are visited and where visitors come from. They are optional.
- Marketing. Used to measure the effectiveness of our advertising and to show relevant advertising on other sites and platforms. They are optional.
Optional categories are switched off until you turn them on, either with “Accept all” or individually in “Manage preferences”. How your choice is applied to each tag is explained in section 4.
4. Google Consent Mode
The website loads Google Tag Manager, which manages the analytics and marketing tags listed below. We use Google Consent Mode v2: before Google Tag Manager loads, every Google consent signal for analytics and advertising storage (analytics_storage, ad_storage, ad_user_data and ad_personalization) is set to “denied”. The cookie banner updates these signals only for the categories you accept, and repeats your stored choice on every later visit.
While a signal is “denied”, Google tags do not read or set analytics or advertising cookies. They may still send Google limited information without cookie identifiers (such as the fact that a page was viewed, the type of browser and whether consent was given), which Google uses to model aggregate measurements. If you accept analytics, Google Analytics can set its cookies; if you accept marketing, Google Ads can set its cookies and use the data for measurement and advertising personalisation.
Other tags. Microsoft Clarity, the Meta Pixel, the LinkedIn Insight Tag and the X pixel do not use Consent Mode. Google Tag Manager loads them only after you make a choice in the cookie banner, and only for the categories you accept: Microsoft Clarity if you accept analytics, and the Meta Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag and X pixel if you accept marketing. Until then they are not loaded, so they set no cookies and collect no information.
Enhanced conversions. If you have accepted marketing cookies and submit one of our contact forms, your email address is passed to the Google tag, which normalises and hashes it (converts it into a one-way code) before it is sent to Google, so that Google can match the form submission to an advertising interaction. If you have not accepted marketing cookies, your email address is never passed to the tag.
6. Cookies in the T-Suite applications
The T-Suite applications (including white-label portals) use only strictly necessary cookies and browser storage. They do not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics cookies. They use browser storage to:
- keep you signed in and maintain your session (your session token and account state are kept in browser storage and are cleared when you sign out or your session expires);
- remember your preferences, such as your language, your portal’s branding and dismissed notices; and
- remember a wallet you choose to connect, where you use that feature.
Some features load services from our providers that may set their own strictly necessary cookies, for example Stripe when you pay by card (fraud prevention) and Sumsub when you verify your identity. These providers use them as described in their own policies. Our error-monitoring service, Sentry, records technical information about errors and a sample of sessions to help us fix problems; it uses session storage rather than cookies, masks text by default and removes credentials and access tokens before data leaves your browser.
7. How to change your settings
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time. Click the button below to open the cookie settings, where you can switch the analytics and marketing categories on or off, or accept or reject all optional cookies. Your new choice applies from the next page you load. Cookies already set by a provider may remain in your browser until they expire or you delete them.
8. Browser controls
Most browsers let you see, delete and block cookies, including blocking third-party cookies or all cookies for particular websites. If you block strictly necessary cookies or browser storage, parts of the website and T-Suite (including sign-in) may not work. Instructions are available from your browser’s help pages, for example for Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge.
You can also opt out of Google Analytics on all websites with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, and manage advertising personalisation in your Google, Meta, LinkedIn and X account settings.
9. Changes to this policy
We will update this policy when we change the cookies we use or when the law changes, and publish the new version on this page with a new “Last updated” date. If we add a new category of optional cookies, we will ask for your consent again.
