On 1 August 2026, Libertum and LandHive completed a share swap. The two companies are now one group, with Libertum Ltd in the United Kingdom as the holding company, and Jens Bezuidenhout, LandHive’s founder, has joined Libertum as Chief Operating Officer.
Here is why we did it, and what changes.

Two teams already building on one stack
LandHive is a Zürich-based prop-tech company, founded in 2023, that helps real estate developers tokenise their developments and raise capital from a wider investor base than a bank or a handful of institutions.
When LandHive launched its investor and issuer portal, portal.landhive.io, it chose not to build a platform from scratch. It runs on Libertum’s white-label T-Suite, under LandHive’s own brand and domain: developers submit and manage their projects as issuers, and investors register, verify their identity and invest through the same portal. You can read more in our LandHive case study.
So the two companies were already building on the same technology. The share swap makes it one group.
What the group now shares
Four things are now used across the whole group:
- Technology. T-Suite and the products built on it, from the Tokenization Wizard and investor onboarding to Structuring and the Distribution Hub. LandHive’s portal already runs on it; now the group develops it together.
- Infrastructure. One stack for issuance, investor onboarding, custody, payments and distribution, instead of two teams maintaining their own.
- Assets. Real estate developments and the offerings built on them can reach investors across the group’s platforms.
- Licences. The group’s licensed entities support both businesses, within the scope of each licence. That includes Libertum, S.A. de C.V., registered with El Salvador’s CNAD as a Digital Asset Service Provider (PSAD-0094).
Jens Bezuidenhout joins as COO
Jens founded LandHive after a decade in investment banking at Citi and more than 20 years developing real estate in the United Kingdom and Spain. He built LandHive after seeing first-hand how restrictive bank financing can hold back otherwise viable projects.
As Chief Operating Officer, he brings that experience of how developments are actually financed and delivered into the whole group.
“Building our portal on Libertum’s infrastructure showed us what one stack can do,” Jens said. “Bringing the two companies together puts the technology, the licences and the people under one roof.”
What it means for you
If you’re a real estate developer, you get a team that understands development finance from the inside, working with the infrastructure to tokenise a project and raise capital for it.
If you’re an issuer or asset manager on T-Suite, nothing changes in how you use the platform. You gain a group with more people, more real-asset experience and a shared roadmap.
If you’re an investor, you keep using the portal you know, and the offerings you see still come with the same onboarding, eligibility and compliance checks.
What’s next
The group’s focus is simple: take an asset from first plans to tokenised, funded and managed, in one place. We will share more as we bring the two teams’ work together. Read the press release.
